Look, I personally do not care if it’s five more frames ahead of the other. As long as my game looks good, it’s all good for me.
But generally, I tend to go with what most people say, and they say nvidia is better overall.
Also, it’s certainly quiter. And smaller.

@leafboy412 Go with 3 GTX580′s 3GB. personally I’d skip all that and wait for the Kepler Based Graphics Cards coming out soon. Which is rumored to use the new PCI-E 3.0 slots. The thing is if everything stays the same and NVidia keeps it’s naming structure. The NVidia 690 card might be able to out perform that setup with just 1 card. So I’d wait for that.

@Domzdream I have no idea who told you Nvidia is better, but I suppose you could say so.

Really, from all the information I was able to glean:

AMD>Nvidia at higher resolutions (i.e 2560×1600, Eyefinity/Multiple Monitors, etc), while Nvidia destroys at smaller res games.

Now, that seems weird to me, but that’s what I’ve been told. Real thing is that some games take advantage of one over the other. HAWX 2 is a great example. AMD fails at that game, Nvidia doesn’t. Other games, other way around.
